Our mobile app is designed to provide competitive people a social media focused platform to hold each other accountable and conduct P2P payments for the escrow, execution, and memorialization of challenges against friends.

We escrow the money you put on the line to prove you are right and we memorialize the event so you can talk trash on social media after you win!

Why We Created Ante Up
Ante Up developed out of a dare, because of a need to combine multiple apps into one, and because we think it's fun to use.
The Story: A while back, a friend grew a scraggly patchy beard that looked terrible. We asked him when he was going to shave it off, and offered to pay him to wax his face if he wasn't going to remove that atrocity of facial hair on his own. Well... an ATM run, $50 and a ton of laughs later, our friend no longer had his beard. In the moment we didn't think to document everything that took place. He wasn't ok with getting his face waxed with a "we will Venmo you later" guarantee, and we weren't going to Venmo him before he completed the challenge. Thus, Ante Up was born. You can continue to use existing methods for similar shenanigans, but we think you will find using Ante Up is easier and way more fun!
Ante Up to Change The World
Ante Up has a deep drive to make the world a better place through Charity Challenges.
How it works: Ante Up will launch Charity Challenges that reward you with an event specific digital badge upon completion of the challenge, that you can share on social media to let others know that you took action. Ante Up strives to provide 100% of money donated, directly to the charity partners.
Why: How many people participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge, and how many of those people contributed to an ALS foundation or charity? If your answer is similar to ours; "we don't know" then that is exactly why we want to do this. For Ante Up, accountability and transparency are not just buzzwords, they are foundational goals. We want everyone to know who donated, what they participated in and who that donation helps.
